A Lush Love Story Unfolds at The Glyn Clydach, Swansea : The Wedding of Rebecca and Matthew

The air was filled with excitement and the sweet scent of flowers as Rebecca began her wedding day preparations at her auntie's charming farmhouse. Nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, the farmhouse provided the perfect backdrop for the bride and her bridal party to embark on the journey of getting ready for the most important day of Rebecca's life.

It was the wettest day of the year across the whole of the UK, but the charming farmhouse buzzed with laughter, joy. Rebecca, surrounded by her closest friends and family, transformed into a vision of grace and elegance. The rustic charm of the farmhouse lent itself to candid moments and heartfelt conversations, creating memories that would be cherished forever.

The rooms were adorned with delicate decor, echoing the craftsmanship and years of personalising this beautiful home with its own character. Soft yet clouded sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow on Rebecca's wedding gown. The anticipation grew with every passing moment, building up to the magical ceremony that awaited at The Glyn Clydach. All of Rebeccas bridal party were lovely and very welcoming, as preparations continued for the bridal party Rebecca opened a special gift from Matthew which created a lovely emotional moment. Their little Girl Maya was the sweetest and was in awe at her mum getting ready and even more so when in her dress! Capturing a loving moment of her fastening mums shoes and helping her down the stairs was a special moment and very adorable.

Glyn Clydach, with its enchanting landscapes and historic charm, set the stage for Rebecca and Matthew's ceremony. The venue, located in the picturesque surroundings of Swansea, Wales, provided a breathtaking backdrop for the couple's vows. As guests gathered, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. The gentle chatter of family and freinds added a touch of warmth and comfort to the ceremony. Rebecca, held in hand by her Dad, made her way down the aisle, radiating beauty and happiness. Matthew stood at the altar, dapper and a picture of eager anticipation. Their eyes met, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. The ceremony, officiated with warmth and sincerity, unfolded amidst heartfelt vows and promises. Family and friends looked on, their smiles reflecting the joy that filled the air. As the couple exchanged rings and sealed their commitment with a kiss, cheers erupted, echoing through the Welsh countryside.

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception that captured the essence of Rebecca and Matthew's love story. An ice cream truck for everyone to grab a lovely treat, children running and dancing, laughter and joy, this all made their day special and beautiful regardless of the continuous heavy rain. As we knew the rain wasn’t going to stop we waited for it to ease a little, quickly grabbed some umbrellas and braved the weather, we took Matthew and Rebecca for a very quick yet intimate trip outside to capture some couple shots in the grounds of Glyn Clydach. Even with the rain and dull skies both Rebecca & Matthew radiated love and happiness.

Soon after the wedding breakfast speeches began, the speeches were filled with love and laughter along with the odd cheeky joke, the children took centre stage by taking the microphone one after another and making everyone laugh, the children getting involved made it a very personal moment that I’m sure Rebecca and Matthew will cherish.. When the couple sat down to eat we grabbed a quick bite ourselves from the bar. The food was out of this world for such a simple item it is still one of the best panini’s we have ever had haha.

The dance floor beckoned, and under the starlit sky, Rebecca and Matthew shared their first dance as a married couple but it wasn’t a solo dance they included their children which was a lovely sight to behold and a memorable moment for them all I’m sure. The intimate family first dance didn’t last long before the children were shouting everyone to come and grab glow sticks and get involved!. The night was filled with joyous celebrations, heartfelt toasts, and the sound of laughter echoing through the room. Everyone was up dancing and celebrating this amazing couples special day.

We want to say a big thank you to Rebecca and Matthew for choosing Lux, your day was special and intimate and very family focused. There wasn’t a moment you weren’t with your little ones and as parents ourselves it’s amazing to see. We wish you both all the best and we wish you a long and happy marriage!
