Rachel & Dom’s wedding in the city of Liverpool

Rachel & Dom’s wedding was a small and intimate celebration filled with colour, fun and tonnes of laughter! The day started off with the ceremony which took place at St Nicholas church, a stunning church with big stained glass windows, a large balcony area in which Rebecca took full advantage of climbing up the steep steps to take some overhead images and the most welcoming of vicars we have ever met. With the blazing sun shining through those beautiful windows the scene was set for a special occasion. Friends and family filled the church to celebrate Rachel and Dom’s big day. After the ceremony we went outside for some images before a short walk through the city to the Tempest on Tithe barn which was less than 5 mins down the road. Rachel and Dom’s friends were a tonne of fun and laughter was echoing throughout the streets of Liverpool as we began the walk to the venue, capturing them as they went. The harsh sun creating beautiful highlights and deep contrasted shadows was a match made in heaven for us as we love the dramatic feel it creates. We were only there for a short time to capture the speeches and a bit of the after party but we had a ball and captured some amazing moments and images for the newly married couple. The small intimate weddings often are some of the best ! they are so personal and as photographers it creates really intense moments. We loved celebrating the day with Rachel and Dom and we wish them a long and happy marriage!
