Joelle & Leons wedding at Bodafon Farm Park, Llandudno

Joelle & Leon Monchet

Bodafon Farm park is a genuine working farm and home to the owls trust. It’s located a stone’s throw away from Llandudno sea front, with picturesque views over the bay and Great Orme. With a Mediterranean style flower filled courtyard with an Italian canopy it’s easy to forget you're in north Wales. You can enjoy the best views of Llandudno from the decked terrace which overlooks a big wooden play castle and adventure play area. Bodafon cater’s for all occasions such as children’s birthday parties, weddings, festivals and parties.

How can we say this..In all honesty, we don’t really have the words……the closest would be magical but even that sounds like an understatement. From the 2 hr drive down that morning everything seemed to be perfect, the song that randomly played on an unknown playlist (Drake- Yeba’s heartbreak, title sounds sad haha but give it a listen) The way that the weather broke from torrential rain to glorious sun moments from arriving. We aren’t really religious but know Leon and Joelle are and honestly believe they had God on their side! We arrived at the villa in which Leon and Joelle were staying with their wedding guests and it was amazing, fitted with a huge kitchen/dinning living space in which hair and make up was taking place gave us the most amazing lighting. Moving upstairs to capture Joelle in her wedding dress was even better! We took off camera flash in anticipation that we wouldn’t have much natural light but how wrong were we! A huge window along side a free standing bath just set the scene and we knew we had to get a shot of Joelle in the bath with her wedding dress on, getting in said bath was a struggle though haha! Leon’s suit was nothing short of amazing, a woven deep green tweed matched with timberland boots and his long hair just gave him that super dapper rock and roll look. Definitely one of the best suits we have seen!

Arriving at the venue, Bodafon farm park, the staff were friendly and super helpful, Letting us take a look around and playing around with the lighting to see what suited us best. The barn and grounds were breathtaking with Spanish vibes that could be found in every nook and cranny. The possibilities for photos were endless and we were constantly finding ourselves seeing new angles trumping the previous. After the ceremony we took a drive up to the Orme, a place that had significant meaning to Leon & Joelle. Once at the top we captured some images and just had a really nice time laughing and telling jokes and it was so amazing to watch them being totally in awe of each other.

To sign off we would both like to say a huge thank you to Joelle and Leon for letting us be a part of your day! The most fun, friendly and rock and roll couple we have had the pleasure of capturing. We wish you nothing but happiness and hope you have the most amazing life together. We are proud to not just call you clients but friends now!
